Kids Flying Lesson - Ages 5-12
This is a great opportunity for children to experience flying through the air whilst in a safe environment. The flying trapeze is a circus art that children can participate in and even have the enjoyment of being caught by FTA's own Superhero!!
Frequent Flyers
If you loved the first class and wish to develop your skills as a flyer then you will have the opportunity to learn advanced tricks. This is a great opportunity to enhance your trick levels and potentially fly with out safety lines.
Family Classes
We encourage family participation, if as a parent you see your child flying through the air and performing one of our tricks and you feel you could do it. Why not arrange a lesson where the whole family joins in.
When you have reached a point where you have shown us that you are proficient enough in the tricks we have taught you. The intermediate class will teach you how to feed yourself the bar and how to hold your body position before you swing through the air. Also you will be taught how to gain height in the swing, and potentially fly without lines, however tricks to the catcher will be done with safety lines.
You can be a part of a group of people who experience the flying trapeze together for the first time. We will place you in our safety belts; show you a demonstration of an aerial trick. In the end perform this trick to one of our catchers. Your entire journey will be captured on film, and if you are good we may ask you to return for our evening shows!!
This class is for flyers who have shown the instructors that they are experienced enough to fly without lines to the net. Even if you are a skilled flyer from outside of FTA you will be asked to initially fly with lines.
