What will I being doing in my first lesson?

In your first FTA lesson you will learn how to execute a 'knee hang catch'. After a demonstration on the ground with a practice bar, you'll be secured into a safety belt, up the ladder you climb, and safety lines attached! Once on the pedestal a professionally trained FTA instructor will prepare you to 'fly, off you jump and away you go towards mastering the 'knee hang' by hooking your knees up across the bar, releasing your hands underneath you and stretching out to the 'catcher's' bar, then back to a straight position you'll safely let go and fall down into the safety net. Practice makes perfect so you will try this again, this time adding a back flip dismount down to the net! Now comes the most exciting part of your experience! IF you have been able to successfully 'assume the position' within the correct timing, a 'catcher' will climb into the 'catch trap' and as you perform your 'knee hang' this time when you reach out, you'll be 'caught' mid air and swing on through with the second trapeze.
